Leverett, MA - Theodore (Ted) Telega of Leverett passed away suddenly at Franklin Baystate on November 20th, 2022. He is survived by his wife Mikki Telega (Pasiecnik). Sons Teddy Telega and his partner Elaine Coyne, Danny and his fiance Patty Pirog, daughter Joanne Bartucca and her husband Dave. His beloved grandchildren Becca Telega and her partner Rob Dardis, Tim Telega, Shelby Telega, Spencer Telega, Shawn Telega, Drew Bartucca and Madison Bartucca. Also, Teds leaves his step-grandchildren Ricky and Andrew Pirog. Connor and Colin Pettis, Madison and David Grover. Sisters June Giannetti, Kathy Goodrich and her husband Ronny and brother Bobby Telega, Daughter-in-law Missie Telega and many nieces and nephews. Ted was predeceased by his parents Stephen and Minnie Telega, his brother Billy Telega, brother-in-law Art Giannetti and best friend Eddy Trachey.

He enjoyed hunting with his sons and grandsons, taking walks in the woods with his dogs Harper, Sheba and Maggie. Ted was an avid sports fan especially when it came to his grandchildren's games. Ted's passion was maple sugaring with sons and grandchildren. He was a member of Local 596 for over 35 years working for Dan O'Connell, most of those years, retiring with Northern Construction. Ted loved farming, working on his parent's farm after coming home from his real job, helped many of local farmers, most recently he worked for Justin, Jon, and Tyler Galenski of South Deerfield and advised Johnny Bysiewski on tobacco farming.
