Seth Pomeroy

Visitation will be Wednesday, Oct. 23, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Wrisley Funeral Home followed later by a private memorial service

NORTHAMPTON - Seth Pomeroy, 16, departed this life Friday, Oct. 18, 2013.

 

He was born May 21, 1997, in Northampton, and was the beloved son of R. Scott and Susan Pomeroy of West Hatfield and brother to Elisabeth and Margaret Pomeroy of West Hatfield, Jessica Poveromo of Piscataway, N.J., and Richard Poveromo of Philadelphia, Pa. He also leaves behind his paternal grandparents Russell and Barbara Pomeroy of North Hatfield; maternal aunt Nora Breen and her husband Brad Vanselous of Somerset, N.J.; paternal aunt Bobbie Terezakis and her husband Terry and cousins Timothy and Michael Terezakis, all of St. Augustine, Fla.; as well as many other relatives, friends and beloved pets.

 

He is predeceased by his grandparents Frank and Bettyann Breen.

 

Seth was a junior at Smith Vocational and Agricultural High School, participating and excelling in the graphics arts program. His prowess with computers was something to be amazed by. Along with computers and video games, he enjoyed the outdoors, biking, camping and fishing. Music was a profoundly important aspect of his life, something he always was surrounded by. He participated in the Hatfield Elementary and Smith Academy band playing the trombone.

 

Other than his accomplishments and participation in his shop, Seth also was a co-founder of the SVAHS Games Club. He was involved in Cub Scouts and more recently in Civil Air Patrol. Besides his incredible talent for computers and technology, he will be remembered for his smile, his wit and enthusiasm for every new bit of information he discovered.

 

Visitation will be Wednesday, Oct. 23, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Wrisley Funeral Home, 90 Sugarloaf St., South Deerfield, followed later by a private memorial service.
