Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday December 26th, 2017 from 5pm to 7pm.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Dec.27th, at 9:15AM from the Wrisley Funeral Home followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in Holy Family Church, Sugarloaf Street, South Deerfield. A spring burial is planned

Sandra Eaton, 62, of South Deerfield, MA passed away at Baystate Franklin Medical Center on Thursday December 21st after a 5 and a half year hard fought battle with cancer.  

 

Sandy was born on September 4th 1955 in Montague to Walter Laczynski and Mary Laczynski (Gadarowski). She attended Frontier Regional High School where she met the love of her life whom later became her husband.  After high school she went on to UMass Amherst where she received a degree in Education.  She would later go on to teach Kindergarten, Third and Sixth grades; she was a much beloved teacher to her students.  On August 19th 1978 Sandra married her high school sweetheart Richard Eaton with whom she raised two children, Lisa and Richie.  She loved watching her children and granddaughter Eliana Woloss participate in sports. She was their biggest cheerleader on and off of the field. She was also a huge fan of the Boston Red Sox and loved to attend their games whenever possible. 

 

Sandy is predeceased by her father Walter and brothers Ronald and Raymond.

She is survived by her mother Mary. Her husband Richard; Her brother Michael and his wife Cindy and their children and grandchildren; her daughter Lisa and husband Ben and her beloved granddaughter Eliana. She also leaves behind her son Richie.   

 

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Wrisley Funeral Home in South Deerfield, MA.

The family has asked, in lieu of flowers, for donations to be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, Mass. 01701.
