Robert “Eric” Seaholm

A Memorial Service will be Held on August 2, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Wrisley Funeral Home.  A reception will immediately follow at the Holy Family Parish Center 29 Sugarloaf Street, South Deerfield MA.

 

 

 

 

Robert “Eric” Seaholm, 75  of Kingman, Arizona past away Saturday July 12, 2014 at home with his family by his side.  Born March 18, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Eric and Lillian Seaholm.  He was a graduate of Natick High School and the Massachusetts Police Academy.  Before starting his career in law enforcement, Eric started his journey into music with his own band, playing the local scene, as well as accompanying Xavier Cougat in the early 1950’s.   Eric’s law enforcement career  started as an officer for the Natick Police Department, and ended with his retirement from the Deerfield Massachusetts Police Department.  He was also employed by the University of Massachusetts Physical Plant, in the Elevator Department.   After retiring Eric and his wife settled to Arizona.  While living in Massachusetts Eric was a member of the local chapter of the Blue Knights, and when he relocated to Arizona, he became an active member of the Kingman  Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge 16.   He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Jeanette Seaholm  of Kingman,  Daughter Robin Gegg of McKinney Texas, Sons Roger Seaholm of Las Vegas, NV ,  Edward MacGray of Erving Ma and Eric Seaholm of Kingman, AZ.  He also leaves behind his Sister Barbara Wildman of Syracuse, NY, Brother Eric and his wife Jane Seaholm of Hopkinton, MA, and brother Nels Seaholm of Syracuse, NY.   He is also survived by his many Great Grandchildren,  Grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his son Frederick E. MacGray IV of Nashua, NH.
