Richard Rowe, age 75, passed away the night of December 25, 2016 in his home in South Deerfield, Ma after a courageous year-long battle with cancer. The wake will be held the night of Thursday December 29 at the Wrisley Funeral Home from 5-7PM and the funeral will be held the following morning on Friday December 30 AT 9:15am from the funeral home followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in Holy Family Church at 10:00AM.

Mr. Rowe was born on February 18, 1941 in Montague, Ma to Robert and Alice Rowe. After high school, Richard decided to join the Marines and served for 5 years. Quickly after he returned home, he met the love of his life, Linda Crossman in 1964. A few short months later, they were wed on June 19, 1965. They lived in South Deerfield, Ma and had three children, Tracie, Mark, and David. During his life he worked at Oxford and Deerfield Plastic and after retirement Richard drove the school bus for Frontier Regional. Richard enjoyed to cruise and travel, spend time on Nauset Beach on Cape Cod, watch his grandchildren play sports, and create endless memories spending every moment possible with friends and family.

He will greatly be missed by his wife Linda, his three children Tracie and her husband Bill, Mark and his partner Leah, and David and his wife Michelle. He will also be dearly missed by his five grandchildren Taylor, Jordan, Jake, Olivia, and Tanner and his great grandson Hudson. He also leaves a sister, Carol Rowe of South Deerfield.
