Fitchburg, MA.- Regina A.
Wolejko 70, of 236 Bridle Cross Road, died Monday, June 22, 2015 at home. Formally
of South Deerfield, she was born December 7, 1944 in Hoboken, New Jersey
the daughter of Edward and Virginia (Kaminski) Wolejko. She was educated in
local schools and graduated from Frontier
School. She also attended Northampton Commercial
College. She worked as an
office clerk at Kollmorgan Corp. in Northampton
for 25 years until she developed renal failure. She received a cadaver kidney
in 1988 and survived three cancers.
Regina is survived by one brother, Dr. Raymond E. Wolejko
and his wife Gail of Lunenburg, Ma. nephews Matthew Wolejko and his wife Joanna
Klineschmidt of Lowell, Thomas Wolejko and his wife Bridie of Brighton and Jeffrey Wolejko of Lunenburg and a
grandniece Elke Klineschmidt of Lowell
Services will be held Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 11.00AM in Holy Name of Jesus
Church with Fr. Randolph Calvo, pastor officiating. There will be a calling
hour from 9:30 – 10:30AM at the Wrisley Funeral Home, Sugarloaf Street, South Deerfield.
Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. The family would
like to ask that all families at a time of their own tragedy make an organ
donation that will prolong the life of others.
