When Becky came into this world it became a better place. She was a very loving
giving person and a wonderful wife, daughter, sister, aunt and a friend to
many. Memories of her will be cherished and never forgotten.
Becky enjoyed many things. The pull and sound of a slot machine.
Collecting crystal figurines, wood carvings and marketry. Driving while
listening to the Beatles and eating twizzlers. Decorating her house for all
holidays but especially Halloween and Christmas were such a fun time for her.
Making Easter pierogis, baked beans and squash rolls with all the girls in the
family were an event she looked forward to. She was a pursuer of tag sales,
enjoyed gardening and was an avid recycler.
Becky was always trying to find her way to a warm place in the sun
on a beach. Cruises to the Caribbean in the winter and Newport Rhode Island
in the summer. A lounge chair, toes in the sand and a bag of chips.
She also had a love for cats. All cats. Any kinds of cats. But the
most special of all to her were her Siamese. Boris, Mr. Pee Wee, Tashi and
Nikki. She is with them now cuddling.
A first date on March 20th, twenty three years ago lead to her
marriage to Jon Morel. Who shared all her aforementioned passions and also
shared her love, then, now and onward.
She leaves behind her parents Leonard and Steffie Skalski. Her
husband Jon Morel. Brother Arno Skalski and his wife Jacqui .Sister Sandi LaCoy
and husband Gene. Sister Pam Fisk. Nieces Lauren and Cassie LaCoy. Nephews
Tyler and Jared Fisk and Kiel McAvoy and many others in a wonderful family.
The friends she had in life were great ones. Cindy Pelletier of
Colrain, Cindie Rowell of Conway, Sue Kremer of Newport Rhode Island and
countless others that she loved. To have so many wonderful friends is a great
compliment to how great she herself was. She will miss all these people,
friends, family and husband as they will all miss her.
