Conway, Mass.- Phyllis R. Perry , 60, of Conway died unexpectedly Friday, November
21,2014 at home. She was born in Northampton, August 26, 1954 the daughter of
Anthony J. and Sophie (Liguz) Ostrowski. She attended Deerfield Schools and
graduated from Frontier
School. She was married to Richard E. Perry in
St. Stanislaus Church June 27, 1981. They made their home in Conway. He
predeceased her in 2009.
Phyllis worked at Channing L. Bete Co. in South Deerfield and later as a cafeteria worker at the Conway Grammar School. She was involved with Big Brothers and Big Sisters and as a hobby
enjoyed playing cards and socializing at the Conway Inn.
survived by her sister-in-law Edith Ostrowski of South
Deerfield, two nephews Stanley Ostrowski of South Deerfield and
Jason Perry. One niece Jennifer Mikaelian of South Hadley,
two grand-nieces Haily and Jasmyne,. Other nieces and nephews and various
Godchildren. Phyllis was predeceased by a brother Anthony Ostrowski. She leaves her best friend “Yuker”.
Calling hours will be held Monday, December 1, 2014 from 4-7pm at the
Wrisley Funeral Home, Sugarloaf Street, South Deerfield. Funeral services will
be held Tuesday December 2, 2014 at 9:15am from the funeral home followed by a
Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00am in Holy
South Deerfield. Private burial will be at the
convenience of the family. Donations in her memory may be made to the Shriners’
Hospital, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, or to The Conway Ambulance Fund
