Judith (Richards) Lococo

Judith (Richards) Lococo, 80, of Northampton, died peacefully on Monday, September 6, 2021. Born in Greenfield, MA, she was the oldest of five children born to John C.H. Richards Jr., originally of Hatfield and Hellen (Kulesa) Richards, originally from South Deerfield. Judith was a graduate of Northampton High School's class of 1959. In 1960 she married Enace J. Lococo Sr. of Northampton.

Judith was active in the community as a member of Northampton Elks Club and a sponsor/ coordinator for the Fresh Air Fund. Judith was employed as a bookkeeper in her husband's business, Lococo Mason Supply and later became a Real Estate Broker, launching her own business, Lococo Real Estate. One of Judith's greatest accomplishments was being named Hampshire County Realtor of the Year in 1981. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed hosting seasonal gatherings, collecting antiques and traveling with her husband Enace.

Judith leaves behind two children: Robert Lococo and Enace "E.J." Lococo Jr. and his wife Petra Lococo of Whately, MA; sisters: Jacqueline (Richards) Maus of Houston TX, Jaye Richards of Rockport, MA and a brother John C.H. Richards III, of Southampton, MA. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. Judith was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 55 years, Enace J. Lococo Sr., and her sister, Joyce (Richards) Kludzuweit.
