Bernard Niedzwiedz, a longtime resident of Erving died on Friday, April 14, 2017. He was 69 years old. He was born on January 24, 1948 to Bernard and Stella Niedzwiedz in Montague, Mass.

 

Bernie was a graduate of the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and worked at Baker Pharmacy in Shelburne Falls, Mass for 43 years.

 

Bernie is survived by his brother Robert Niedzwiedz, Sister-In-Law Mary Ann, his two nephews Jeffrey and David Niedzwiedz, his Uncle Staha, Aunt Agnes, Aunt Dottie and numerous cousins

 

Bernie was very creative and enjoyed making things for family, friends, church functions and the senior center in Erving, Mass.

 

Bernie enjoyed sports and he was an avid and excellent bowler and golfer for many years. He was a huge New England Patriots fan and was a season ticket holder for many years. He had the opportunity to attend the 1985 Super Bowl in New Orleans.

 

Bernie loved to make people laugh with his keen sense of humor and quick wit.

 

A memorial service for Bernie will be held for family members at The Wrisley Funeral Home in South Deerfield.

 

Donations may be made to The American Heart Association or The American Diabetes Association in memory of Bernie Niedzwiedz
