MA – Bernard Louis Partenheimer,
90, of Main St.,
Hatfield died May 2, 2014 at home. He
was born in Montague, June 20, 1923, the son of Merriam Partenheimer.
He was educated and grew up in Montague City. After graduating from high school, he joined
the U.S. Navy, serving in WWII. He later
married Anne Sielski, they made their home in Hatfield.
Bernard was a retired carpenter, working for several
construction companys, one of which was D.A. O’Connell.
Beside his wife, Anne Partenheimer of 72 years, he leaves
one brother, Richard and his wife Edith of Mahomet, IL, his brother-in-law
Eugene Sielski of Easthampton
and several nieces and nephews. He is
predeceased by his brother Warren Partenheimer and his sister Annette.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 6th at 12 noon in the
Wrisley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Fr. Robert Markovitch
officiating. Burial will be in the Holy
Ghost Ukrainian Cemetery. A calling hour
will be held from 11am until the time of service.
