A private funeral will be held Thursday, January 18, 2018 in the Wrisley Funeral Home Chapel with Fr. Philippe Roux officiating. Burial will be in the spring in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. There are no calling hours

Whately, MA – Antonia R. Wroblewski, 86, of North St., Whately died unexpectedly Friday evening, January 12, 2018 at home. She was born in Sunderland, August 7, 1931, the daughter of Alex and Rozalia (Koyzue) Mieczkowski.

 

She was educated in the Sunderland school and attended Deerfield High School. She later married Chester Wroblewski, Sr., November 17, 1956 in St. Stanislaus Church. All of their married life was in Whately. Chester predeceased her in 1993.

 

In her early years, she worked the family farm along with helping other local farmers harvest their crops. In later years, she worked and retired as a custodian at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.

 

She is survived by one son, Chester Jr. of Whately; four daughters, Kathleen Wroblewski of Sunderland, Rebecca Robinson and her husband Paul of Belchertown, Regina Wroblewski of Whately and Debra Barcomb of Westfield; one brother, Stanley Mieczkowski of Sunderland; one sister, Helen Yazwinski of Deerfield; five Grandchildren; nine Great-Grandchildren and nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Joseph Mieczkowski and her sister Stella Maslanka.

 

A private funeral will be held Thursday, January 18, 2018 in the Wrisley Funeral Home Chapel with Fr. Philippe Roux officiating. Burial will be in the spring in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Donations in her memory may be made to Dakin Animal Shelter or Shriners Hospital for Children.
