Anna Pauline Seymour, 95 of South Deerfield, Massachusetts
passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Thursday September
7th 2017 at the Hospice of the Fisher Home, Amherst MA. She was born
on March 2nd 1922 in Whatley, MA to Michael and Agnes Bogus
Morawski.
Anna is pre-deased by her loving husband Albert Noel
Seymour. They married on November 18th
1946 and resided in Florence, MA where Anna worked at Pro Brush.
Anna and Albert later retired to South Deerfield, MA in
1982. Anna was a strong vibrant lady who loved gardening outside for hours
tending to her beautiful perennial beds or when inside, she’d be cooking up
delicious homemade meals, as well she was an avid Red Sox fan. She delighted in
playing with her faithful dog Holly, traveling within the US and Europe with
Albert for his WWII 97th Infantry Division Company F reunions and
spending time with family.
After Anna and Albert retired, some of their memorable
travel experiences were trips to many US Army installations in the United
States, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, the Great Ocean road of Australia and Pilsner,
Czechoslovakia.
Anna was preceded in death by her brothers Eugene, Edward
and Michael Morawski and her sister Frances LeFlock.
She is predeceased by her husband Albert Seymour who she was
married to for sixty seven plus years. She is survived by her children Dennis
Seymour and wife Lisa of Holyoke, MA, Edward Seymour of Sunderland, MA, and
daughter Joyce (Seymour) Twarog of South Deerfield, MA; her five grandchildren
Amy (Seymour) Beckwith and husband Chris, Timothy Seymour and his wife Melissa,
Emma Jane Seymour, Jenna Lyn (Seymour) Sample and her husband Andre, Mathew
Seymour and five great-grandchildren Ashley, Caitlyn and Christopher Beckwith
and Devin and Morgan Seymour.
Visitation services will be at the Wrisley Funeral Home
located in South Deerfield, MA on Friday September 15th from 9am to 10am.
Liturgy of Christin burial will follow at 10:30am at the Holy Family Roman
Catholic Church in South Deerfield, MA with burial to follow at the St.
Stanislaus Cemetery in South Deerfield, MA.
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made in
Anna’s name to Holy Family Roman Catholic Church or the Hospice of the Fisher
Home in North Amherst MA.
