Visiting hours will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on May 13, 2017 at the Wrisley Funeral Home in South Deerfield, followed by a graveside service at 1:00 pm at Laurel Hill Cemetery on Pine Nook Road in Deerfield. A gathering at the Deerfield Teachers Center, Pocumtuck Valley Memorial Association (PVMA), 10 Memorial Street, Deerfield, will be held after the graveside service

Allison M. Landale of Deerfield, MA, born April 1, 1965, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2017 surrounded by family and friends at Cooley Dickinson Hospital after battling a long illness. Allison was a longtime resident of Deerfield, graduated from Frontier Regional High School, and attended Greenfield Community College. She was known for her bubbly and outgoing personality; she had the ability to make friends wherever she went. Allison, along with her husband Dean, operated The Bars Farm, which continues to be a fixture of the community. She enjoyed her countless interactions with loyal customers, being outdoors and tending crops, especially her flowers. She loved spending time with friends and family, whether it was in the outdoors or watching a Bruins or Patriots game.


She is survived by her husband, Dean; stepchildren, Andrea, Megan and Matthew; granddaughter Sophia; parents, Herbert and Mary Marsh; brother, David; father and mother-in-law, Albert and Patricia Landale; brothers-in-law, Alan and Gordon and their families; many close friends, and her loyal dog, Foxy.
