Florence, MA – Alicia B. Milligan, 62, of 377 Lamplighter
Drive, Melbourne, FL died Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at the home of her
sister at 6 Country Way in Florence.
She was born in Chicopee, MA, October 6, 1951, the daughter
of Carol and Pauline M. (Basara) Richards.
She was educated in Hadley schools and graduated from Hopkins Academy
and later from Smith Vocational School of Nursing. Alicia was married to Larry Meunier in
1971. They made their home in West
Deerfield. Upon him becoming ill, she cared
for him until he pre-deceased her in 2005.
She then met and married her husband of 4 years, James Milligan. They made their home in Melbourne, FL. She returned to Florence in early July. In her earlier years, she loved to travel.
Besides her husband James of Athol, she leaves one son,
Brian Meunier and his companion Holly of Deerfield, one daughter, Julie Kosuda
and her husband Stephen of Greenfield, two brothers, Carl Richards of
Sunderland and Paul Richards of Northfield, two sisters, Arlene Kowal and her
husband William of Florence and Marjorie Tetreault of Northampton and many
nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours at the Wrisley Funeral Home Chapel are Friday,
September 12, 2014 from 5-8pm. A private
burial will be Saturday in the Whately Center Cemetery.
